Really....and frankly...please do no believe what people say when it comes to sex.
If a man/woman is reasonably healthy (physically and psychologically)..and if they are with a partner who they are attracted to and comfortable..age is not an issue. Only when it comes to reproductive functions- age is an issue (for women)...men are lucky in that way too.

For women..obviously it is different (unless one wants to go through all kinds of artificial means to become a biological post-menopausal mother!..It is a mystery to me..why some women go through all that in their 50s and 60s).

In the Indian communities..age/aging is such a big issue and there are so many people who are afraid..like it is something fatal/morbid! I was just saying that there are many myths abour aging in general..and especially when it comes to sexual functions.

There are quite a few reasons why people are afraid of the old age in our communities...tradionally the earning capacity was so hard that people worked towards it and just it all their life, so when you hit retirement phase, all of a sudden you are clueless, and also because you put money earning before health, you health has started detoriating...

Well, that is true...but, now people do have more access to medical care, awareness/inof..and some
modern-day living comforts help..so aging does not have to be automatical "detoriation". I know people in India in their 70s who are in quite good shape/reasonably healthy..so it depends on a lot of factors (*Good health being the most important of all).
I was referring more about "marriage age"..perceptions( for example- I have many people who ask me to look for a bride...but "29" seems to be some kind of a limit.."30" seems like it is a whole different category...and the lady is disqualified...in practical physical terms..what is the real difference between 29 and 30/31? The same applies for men...30 is okay..but 35 is "too old"? Huh?!
And in general, people think by 40 they are falling apart...and they need a walking stick/walker whatever and it is all "downhill". As I have always said...aging is a good thing..if one is in good health, has good genes and good attitude!

Wouldn't agree with the "life falling apart" thinking at later ages, but I have to say it makes perfect sense to get married at the mid 20's. Ecnomical, biological and practical reasons for people to be settled and married at say 26,27,28. Not that there are people getting married at a much later age but simple all other things being equal, that IMO is the best age to surrender your life :)

Well, in a perfect world....all the perfect expectations can be met perfectly!
*The reality is...the 'demands" are sometimes very unrealistic..and compromises may be needed.
The more I live..I seem to think..there is no "perfect time" for anything!
