Bijaya:

"SAP, started in 1972 by five former IBM employees in Mannheim, Germany, states that it is the world's largest inter-enterprise software company and the world's fourth-largest independent software supplier, overall.

The original name for SAP was German: Systeme, Anwendungen, Produkte, German for "Systems Applications and Products." The original SAP idea was to provide customers with the ability to interact with a common corporate database for a comprehensive range of applications. Gradually, the applications have been assembled and today many corporations, including IBM and Microsoft, are using SAP products to run their own businesses.[courtesy the Internet]

So, what is SAP in the layman's language?

See, this is the benefit of respectfully addressing one's elders with an Unkil or Aunty. I don't get why some Unkils on this board get so offended by that.

Because you are NOT Original.  You are a pseudo.  Non-genuine, and people have seen through your sheep skin and found out that behind that facade you are a cunning fox.

One reason, why I don't entertain you either as a friend or foe to comment upon your posts in this Forum.

Actually, I am not offended when I am addressed by people younger than me. It just feels odd when people who are only 2-4 yrs. younger than me address me as uncle.

Merlot reminds of the movie 'Chhote Nawab'  (with Mehmud et al.)

unkil,
i know exactly what u are talking abt. he.

Merlot Daruwala posted Re:please clarify this computer jargon on 1 month ago
Haha. Would have worked if you had not informed everyone of your age. I know you're older (and wiser) than me, aunty.
Impedimenta posted Re:please clarify this computer jargon on 1 month ago
darn! ignore that. it was merely my call for attention. i was emotionally something that time. i am in reality, 24.

"i am in reality, 24."

:) yeah right, and I am 25 seeking a 24-yr. old TN BN dancer!

Oh if we're talking emotional age, I'm perpetually 13.

>>> We already know that. Do you prefer being called Munna?

Sure Unkil. As the designated elder on this board, you have license to call me anything.

unkil, you dont fare much better. your real age to mental age variance is much larger..only perhaps matched by phlegmy.

Thanks Doofus for feeling bad for me. Actually I was pitying myself too; for not knowing what sap stands for?

unkil/aunty??
LOL....reminds me of this couple who addressed me as uncle. They were in their late 20s and I was 32 at that time. It's amazing how so many desis are conditioned to use these terms (uncle/aunty).

BTW, what's up with your usage of the term "ya, child"?! Have you been talking to a lot of black women lately?
