I'm looking at doing my masters degree solely online due to working full time, but I don't want to waste my money and time if companies are going to see it as a joke. So,give me source from which i can get reliable information.

hi,
A Master's degree is just that... a master's degree. I did lots of post-university courses for teacher's qualifications and they are well regarded. I think it might also depend on what institution you choose. If you know what you are looking for in a online education college degree program, go right to our search engine to search for the program that fits your schedule and goal.online education

If you want to join online courses, you must contact  "symbisis institute  of management."
They have management courses.

i don't know what you're seeking, but if it is in the sciences and engineering, you can get an excellent online education for free (sans degree of course), right here.

WIth so much of wealth of knowledge and courses freely available on the web, don't you think a highly motivated, disciplined and mature kid in India who goes to a second rate college can get as good education as a kid in IIT?

Afer all, if he does not like the way his Math professor teaches calculus, he could watch  a better  Calculus in action on Youtube.

i just saw your reference to this post on another thread. i missed it. certainly, as far as availability of information is concerned, it is becoming a level playing field. i think the difference might be the availability of excellent labs; i also think a good teacher is enormously important even for motivated self-learners. there is simply no substitute for learning from a professor who is also engaged in research in the subject area being taught.

btw, i think opencourseware is a phenomenal resource. it's MIT's generous gift to the world.
