ands Hatch (Britain), May 4 (IANS) India's Narain Karthikeyan piped local hero Robbie Kerr to give Team India its second A1GP win here Sunday.
The win at the Brands Hatch circuit was second for Karthikeyan, whose first win came in Zuhai, China. Karthikeyan made a number of unforced errors but still Kerr could not find his way past the Indian.
Neel Jani driving for Team Switzerland took third place.
Karthikeyan secured India's first ever pole position after beating Kerr in the qualifying session of the season-ending race Saturday.
India began the race with 40 points at 14th place in the overall championship and with six more in the kitty, they have every chance to push for a top-10 finish for the first time.Don't forget Narain's win - let not IPL take over his hard work

Sportsmen in India belonging to sports (other than cricket) should take inspiration from sportsmen like Narain Karthikeyan, Sania Mirza, Leander- Bhupathi, V Anand,Jaspal Rana, Jeev Milkha Singh, Rajvardhan Rathore, etc on how to pursue their dreams & goals instead of whining about cricketer's success & the success of Cricket in India. They should take their sports to the levels plus also take inspirations from the talent, persistence, consistency & the urge to succeed instead of just whining about resources, blaming their respective boards.... making excuses for failures isnt how cricket succeeded in this country..... afteralll it was a long journey for cricket too....it is no instant success story..... after all it took more than 75 years for cricket in India to reach these levels today... if you display talent, class & performances...people will be driven to to the stadiums.... we saw that last year when our soccer team did good in the Nehru cup. People did respond to acknowledge the performance of those soccer players... even if mean for those moments of success.

Can you post something related to the subject of sportsmen & his/her success & as a inspiration for other sportsmen/women.
Well even Population ..is one of the reason for increase in demand for fuel....but then... it is easier to point finger elsewhere...... but then this isnt the post where such matters need to be discussed.....
p.s: It is a good discussion topic...but wouldnt it be wise to choose another post/thread to talk about it?????
