I guess human beings are selfish irrespective of gender, caste and religion. They start any relationship because they find that being with the person they like gives them pleasure, a sense of security, a feeling that you are capable of offering love and being loved. I guess human beings love themselves the most hence fall in love with a person to make tehmeselves happy.

hmmm interestin comment..makes me wonder if that can be said about the dog aswell?? Coz then, the dog too loves the master as selfishly coz it doesgive him a lotta pleasure,sense o security ,a longing and belonging in doin so ! As for falling in
Love ?? well...perhaps..therein lies the difference...we humans are selfishly choosy and tend to expect..a lot !
