THAT IS SHOCKING!!
I used to watch him in "Meet the Press" every Sunday morning. I wasn't aware thet he was sick or had health problems.

It's going to happen to all of us, one day, someday. Mine, as I guess is 4 to 5 years away. For some reason I'm not fearful, but excited. :)

I was feeling really low on Sunday morning. I absolutely missed Tim Russert on Sunday. Watched Tom Brokow and other cohosts do the eulogy and Tom Brokow choked in the end.
Around 12:30 PM I pulled out one of the best and watched it through. Yes, I watched 'Anand' and smiled all the way. Oh! what dialogues. Gulzar and Hrishikesh Mukherjee at their best. Why can't they make such masterpieces today. Great dialogues. Maut tu ek Kavita hai... Wah!

Zindagi lambi naheen, badi honi chaheeye, jiske ek ek pal mein hum hazarron jeevan jiyein.
I'm going to write to Gulzar about this. I really miss those movies.
Lekin... moments like the Tim's sudden loss, Anand's script and hundreds of small moments that makes life so exciting.

Even for someone who says the above all the time...sometimes news like this is shocking.
*He is from Buffalo, NY and would always talk about the "blue-collar" roots..just seemed like a gentle giant- tough but compassionate in his interviews..
Just the other day he was talking about Sen. Edward Kennedy and how his cancer impacted him and hard to imagine the US- without him...now, looks like he is the one who is gone (Sunday mornings will be kind of odd without watching him/his program..I always watched before I left for Church).

Obama will miss him. He plotted Hillary's demise in the media.
I feel badly for his son, wife and father. What a shock! He was an excellent political reporter/analyst. Wish he had slowed down during this Presidential race.
that was very unprofessional. it was more like a personal vendetta against hilary.
that said, my condolences to his fmaily over his untimely death
