No body is happy with the politics of their respective countries. Every world class citizen knows that irrespective of the advancements and developments for their standards of life they are being short charged by their political leaders. It is a Universal Phenomenon. Since India is a developing country we are still in the stage of developing corruption into a fine art and may be in a few decades we will catchup with most sophisticated fraudulent politicians of this world. Till then enjoy the fun. As one joker said there are only two past times in India One is Fornication and the other is playing politics. Both are full time jobs. If you don't believe me, ask my friends Brinda and Prakash Karat. Incidentally Brinda is from the city which adopted me Calcutta, the City of Joy and when the communists under Jyoti Babu took the reigns of governing the State of West Bengal it lost two luminaries One is JOY and another VP. I mean yours truly.

tHERE IS LESS CORRUPTION IN OTHER COUNTRIES OBVIOUSLY(I MEAN DEVELOPED ONES).
INDIA IS POWERFUL
BUT WE HIDE OUR POWER BEHIND OUR HIDEOUSNESS.
SO WE WILL STAY POWERLESS
A WEAK COWARD GIANT
Try telling this to the goons of Shivsena in Mumbai or the DMK / PMK combination in Singara Chennai,. They will drive you mad, that is, if you are till alive after their third degree methods.

I am talking about the nation at large. So they will think i am attacking jayalalitha and nod heads.
See. VP, when u talk about things in general, just observe that each fellow thinks of his enemy.
All faults rest with the opposition party and not with one's own party.
Ask any MLA
each will blame the preivous govt if his party is ruling. And the other guy will blame this one.
All of them agree in toto that we are a faltu paper mache country with individual greatness and collective inefficiency.
what we lack is ability for organised team work.
What is, in your lexicon, the meaning of the term "the nation at large"? It is like the old Agraharam Mami saying "Engathu Mamavai Thavira Yellarathu Bramananum Oru Achchi Vachindu Irukka". Little realising that the first culprit is her husband. I deal with reality. I deal with corrupt politicians day in and day out. I buy them, to get my work done. From 1970 when I stepped into then Madras till today, I have bought people in power, and made them do my bidding. This is not an idle boast. I have written about this long back. Very recently I wrote a blog http://rajaputhran.sulekha.com/blog/post/2008/03/vanangamudi-vaidyanathan.htm where I had elaborated my experiences. I don't believe in any one minister whether his party is in power or out of power. Every bloke is a vadikattina Kaiyendhi, and I take vicarious pleasure in abusing them but pay them their price so that I am certain they will do what I want. After all ministers are the servants of Public? And which Public servant would refuse some extra moolah if it comes to him unasked, provided he is willing to bend the rules and regulations? Are not the rules and regulations there just to bend to benefit their friends especially those who are so considerate like Vanangamudi Vaidyanathan?
