QB - I am a bit surprised that you picked this "abstract modern art" kinda "rainbow" necklace. I thought you liked "conventional traditional" stuff.

How did you manage to get a picture without any background at all ?
I second Nihaan. A while Kurti and Jeans and this on top.. It looks great. But a lot depends on what ear rings are worn.
Also I feel, it might go well with certain body colours more. It looks best for fair skinned and might not go that well with Tan / wheatish colours. This is my personal opinion

Gold or pearls are better if it is too close to the neck.

sorry, dear! But frankly, I do think it wouldn't look good on anyone. And the black thread will wear off fast leaving u only with the beads.Or after a few days, the white fibres inside the black rope shows and it just can't be worn. I have tried this earlier and i won't advice anyone to buy this.
