my vaio worked nicely for 4 years, it's almost a vintage piece now considering we get an upgraded model every 3 months.
only thing i changed is the RAM till now. these days it has started heating up and sometimes gets shutdown after an hour of use. but has served me faithfully, i think i've used every cent of it..
Whatever you buy don't forget to buy 2 yrs replacement warranty. Every company makes stuff in china and due to price war there is quality and just quantity.
