Madhuri Dixit was honored with a Padmashri award for contribution to arts/cinema....
Very talented actress & superstar.... looking forward to see her in many more meaningful Indian movies. It would be bad if directors dont use this talented actress for some good women oriented roles....

She deserved this much before. Better late than never.
She deserves many such wards.
Really its sad that directors have not yet done justice to her talent. I want to see her in more in performance-oriented roles rather than dance-based roles. Hoping to see that soon.

why nott??? should we even dignify that query with an answer? did this cardio surgeon ever seductively pose that all important question "chole ke peeche kya hai" and then not answer it? I THINK NOT. sheesh.

thats why there should only be one language in India - english!
I guess being a cardio surgeon is his biggest identity.
It probably works well for her as living in the states lets her live a relatively normal everyday existence as few people recognise her out on ths streets.

gowser,
even on those colorado streets ..she manages to get mobbed ..believe me .....
but i agree she manages incognito status better there than if she were in Mumbai

some relatives of mine had seen her at a marathi do - one where she was a regular guest. Most people were generally leaving her alone. I think I had read somewhere that she liked the ability to go grocery shopping by herself.
She deserves many such wards.

Best wishes to her.
