Padmashri Madhuri Dixit...

Madhuri Dixit was honored with a Padmashri award for contribution to arts/cinema....

Very talented actress & superstar.... looking forward to see her in many more meaningful Indian movies. It would be bad if directors dont use this talented actress for some good women oriented roles....

She deserved this much before. Better late than never.
She deserves many such wards.

Really its sad that directors have not yet done justice to her talent. I want to see her in more in performance-oriented roles rather than dance-based roles. Hoping to see that soon.

Best wishes to her.

good to know   recycled  .
she is indeed  one  heck of an actress  ..also has managed to do it all ..be married  to a cardiovascular surgeon    a jaatwalla .at that .....have children and contiinue to work in films     bravo
gowser posted Re:Padmashri Madhuri Dixit... on 5 mnths ago
jaatwalla - her husband's a ghati like her.
jaijui posted Re:Padmashri Madhuri Dixit... on 5 mnths ago

hi gowser ,
by jaatwalla i meant he is a maharashtrian  brahmin like her ..to be envied ....nothing wrong wiith that  honey ..being a successful Surgeon is another feather in her cap ....and his too

hows life , by the way  ?

gowser posted Re:Padmashri Madhuri Dixit... on 5 mnths ago
I misread it as jatwalla - punjabi.

Recycled Soul posted Re:Padmashri Madhuri Dixit... on 5 mnths ago
not jat, jaat waala...meaning same caste/community...she probably meant arranged marriage within the same community...

I wouldnt really give that jaatwaala importance.... he is a cardio surgeon..& thats his biggest identity.

jaijui posted Re:Padmashri Madhuri Dixit... on 5 mnths ago
why not ....recycled ?    what other importance did you want him to have  ?  I've met him  ..and he is one handsome accomplished person   end of story   ...why be a devil's advocate ..at all times   ?
Zenstar posted Re:Padmashri Madhuri Dixit... on 3 mnths ago
Have you really met Dr. Nene? Please tell me more about him. Do you know him personally?

Propagandhi12 posted Re:Padmashri Madhuri Dixit... on 5 mnths ago
why nott??? should we even dignify that query with an answer? did this cardio surgeon ever seductively pose that all important question "chole ke peeche kya hai" and then not answer it? I THINK NOT. sheesh.
jaijui posted Re:Padmashri Madhuri Dixit... on 5 mnths ago
calm down  dear one ..
he sure did ask ..and lo and behold  ..found the seetaphals too ..they are now his to keep  ....
Propagandhi12 posted Re:Padmashri Madhuri Dixit... on 5 mnths ago
seetaphals? more like those long and droopy mangoes from mexico. I bet you on the other hand are hiding seetaphals.
jaijui posted Re:Padmashri Madhuri Dixit... on 5 mnths ago
propa,
so well hidden  believe me  ...people mistake them for prunes
.but then    sigh  ..even wild horses wouldn't keep you away     sigh  ..

jaijui posted Re:Padmashri Madhuri Dixit... on 5 mnths ago

RS,

propa likes only the rounded fruits in his salad ....  dekho na

gowser posted Re:Padmashri Madhuri Dixit... on 5 mnths ago
thats why there should only be one language in India - english!

I guess being a cardio surgeon is his biggest identity.

It probably works well for her as living in the states lets her live a relatively normal everyday existence as few people recognise her out on ths streets.
jaijui posted Re:Padmashri Madhuri Dixit... on 5 mnths ago
gowser,
even on those colorado streets ..she manages to get mobbed   ..believe me .....
but i agree    she manages incognito status  better  there  than if she were in Mumbai
gowser posted Re:Padmashri Madhuri Dixit... on 5 mnths ago
some relatives of mine had seen her at a marathi do - one where she was a regular guest. Most people were generally leaving her alone.  I think I had read somewhere that she liked the ability to go grocery shopping by herself.

Uppili posted Re:Padmashri Madhuri Dixit... on 5 mnths ago
yeah...that too... she even had an arranged marriage within her own caste and STILL married...

Actually, should be given the Padma Vibushan award.
