By far- Maria is the classiest, most interesting poster on the board. Even when she scolds me for being naughty, I love to read her post. Maria really turns me on and I'm not ashamed to admit it.
i second you on that ,she is a very good poster.she never judges some one from their previous posts unlike some idiot south indians here in.but i do not understand why you get turned on after only reading her?

I don't find that strange at all. I've been around the scantily clad women for a long time. I find it refreshing when women exercises her intellect to express herself. That is a turn on to me. I love a smart women. If she is smeart and beautiful, that is a bonus to me. Why is that strange?

LOL...I bet Maria dresses up like the Amish women. A few miles from my house, there is a grocery store owned and operated by the Amish. The first time I went to that store, I couldn't help notice the way women were dressed. None of them had make-up on. I am not sure they would be as appealing as the hollywood actresses attending Academy Awards but they do have certain kind apeal that comes from being feminine and wearing that scarf.

I think the so-called-debaters tag in CH is for the priviledged few, who can hang-on till the milkman-rings-the-bell-next-morning. The so-called debaters may or may not have ever debated, because there's hardly a debate which comes from the focus participants who actually know about the topic. I would put some of those debaters in a stubborn (Dheeth) category with time to pursue their arguement. I put most on CH in the throw-and-run category and the so-called-debaters keep pushing after their 5 or their 10 post.
i know. i was also not included. but i am never a part of anything here anyway. first, i cannot read anything here which is more than two lines long. so, i guess i have to work on that first before i start filing in my nomination:-)

Not to sound too rude, but women hardly debate on CH. They talk and express, but less debate. The debating queen(s) are not on CH anymore, but even they could not debate after 4 posts in a thread without getting personal or abusive. If I can say with the limited exposure of CH I get these days, there's hardly 1 or 2 good debate in months (3 or 4).

Silhouette and Gowser are regulars who do engage in constructive debate when they have time.

I think if you have to talk about CH then you can go by this rule. All posters on CH are men, till you somehow find out that they are not.:)

With lurkers around in fake handles, I'm cautious with many so-called women posters on CH. Can't take their word or profiles for granted, unless I start living on CH for long to find out. :)
Talking of female handles on CH, I do remember some names from past and not so past, who used to be very prominent debaters and bashers :

Yes when it came to debating Rani was the only one who had the energy of a Seva or a Rashuman, but she had weak points. You can easily distract her by bringing the Sikhs in the discussion. RG gets abusive very very fast. Very short fuse. For her it's my way of the high-way. Apsara did discuss and debated on some.

You are pretty much oin the mark about Rani. She was fine until somehow anything related to Sikh or punjab is brought in. At that moment she would get all upset and the issue would be off track.

Well.. certainly not me. Bcz I am one of the staunchest supporters of sikhs and never discussed Sikh jokes. BTW, I and Rani got along great.... and even sent me an email before she left... (there were no notes those days).
