What use is the money if one has to get up at 2 AM to clean potty, night after night?

Well-to-do Indians should be the last ones to claim non-dependency on servants. I was raised with 5 servants in the house, besides the driver/garden keeper. Any middle class home in India now uses at least 3 servants (one who provides service on a daily basis). If NRIs feel any pain in raising kids, its solely because they do NOT live in luxury like their Indian counterparts but LESSER standard of living after kids.
To claim that Aarushi was raised by servants wd be unfair to the Talwar parents. She was 14.
Bloody Bunch of Udavaakarais. If I have to depend on our servants to look after our children, I would have gladly slept with my maid servant rather than my wife and raised a bunch of brats and looked after them too.

I was partially raised by my nanny, a very self respecting, ethical, and loving rajput lady. So much stuff I know in my life, I can attribute it to her. I love her so much that I cry many times that I remember her, or find out if she has a problem. Just cause some alcoholic murdered a girl doesn't mean you lift off the faith from humankind. BTW, even parents kill their kids. What do you have to say about that?

ok. 0.001% parents kill their kids. 5% servants/nannies abuse kids. In my opinion, the risk is too great. I won't be able to live with myself if I find out that some nanny/servant abused my kids.

I thought according to you that was the job of a wife ???? Clean the house and cook the food and not to mention the Sexorage - which is also part of servant's duty in many cases.

Kinda academic. The maid hasn't shown up in weeks. She (and her team) are too busy juggling muitiple homes. The last one and her husband made enough money to start a pizzeria.. The wife has to call molly maid (is that the name)- looks like. If the maid speaks english, your weekly bill goes up substantially , I guess.
