It's been a fun ride
but I got the notion
that it may create
a royal commotion

While still there's time
to stop the motion
let's take a step back
no further promotion.

You may not agree
and ask to stay more
but that's not what I came for
this was not my shore

I laughed had fun
I could have said no
but my heart's not here
now it's time to go

Thanks for the lessons
For the smiles, for the poem
For reminding me playfully
that I am a woman

This has enlightened me
filled me with hope
Now as I head home
I know I would cope.

I guess I need to post on "Forums" what I posted on your blog as well -

How insulting to us.

Do we all sound like a medium of fun to you?

Its ok to treat your friends like "Hi, bye, been fun, thank you" but I find it simply insulting as to how you have treated CHers - almost seems like you "used" us.

I am not leaving sulekha. I can't be at any place half-heartedly. That's all.

Sorry to hear about your dad. But, I would hate it if you don't do anything and then blame your wife for the rest of your life. Time gone, doesn't come back. If you can't help your father, then be in a situation where you can say that you tried your best.

Trying and failing is far better than not trying and blaming others.

Hope things are better soon.

i used to write poems i even won edotors choice award for a poem in poetry.com...i donno now i can't do poetry ...i feel very naive to be writing such flowery verses or such poignent lines.
