Here is a contest for the nature lover blogger. Spot the animal hidden in this vegetation. More clear pic is there in my album "fields and flower" which I am unable to upload. Lets see who spots it correctly.

Even though I couldn't spot the animal, this was a fun lighthearted game, and you should post more of them :) Yay!

If a picture is worth a thousand words then your photograph is worth mius a thousand words.  In my view failed photographs do not convey any thing other than the wasted efforts of the photographer whether digital or film based. Hence they should be discarded and never shown to the public.  I know, Kakkaikku Than Kunju Ponu Kunju, but it is better in the long run.  My discarded photographs have a tale of their own to tell, if I allow them to tell.  Fifty five years of recording images and taking photographs have made me a hard boiled critic and a cynic to boot. More than recording images try to acquire the knowledge of critically apparaising photographs.  It will reward you in the long run.  One may be a horrendous photographer like me who shoots only for his pleasure but the acquired knowledge is invaluable.

How many animals can you see in this photograph, captioned Love & Friendship?

One of my own compositions :  The Why Tree?.

You are a very poor Quizz Master.  Calling a reptile an animal.  Are reptiles animals?   In Sanskrit they are known as Bhujangams, because they do not have legs like the centipedes or the  millipedes but move on their shoulders.  Yes Bhujangam is shoulder.

BTW how close can you or your camera get to a snake? This close?

VP,

CRadhika  came up a good idea though we may some criticism of the execution. She deserves lot of points for a new idea. If you can improve the idea and make it better(you sure have the ability with your photographic background),  give it a try. We will apreciate your contributions.  Rest of it is minor detail.

Thanks Truth for the encouragement.

 Truthbetold3 :

It is unfortunate you missed the wood for the trees.  Cradhika and self know what we are talking about.  Yours is an uncalled for intrusion however well intentioned it might be.  I shall not say anything further in my defence.

Wondrful pics. But I thought reptiles also belong to animal world
Vaidyanathan Pushpagiri posted Re:Spot the animal on 3 mnths ago
cradhika :

No doubts about it.  Reptiles belong to the animal world, like pigmies belong to the group Homo Sapiens.  But when we talk about the normal human being we do not refer to the pigmy. Similarly when we talk about animals with scales we call them reptiles and not animals.
