Well educated and qualified wives are forced to leave their jobs back in India and are made to come to US on H4 juet to become so called house wives.
Isn't the system bullshit that restricts our spouses to work on H4 where in contrast to L2 they can work.
And not to mention the condition of those bored and lonely wives who have sacrificed whole of their career just because of that fake joy which they get when some one back in India scraps them abt their beautiful pics of US in ORKUT.
I think one should not get marry on so called labor class H1B visa

Forced by who ? Did some guy from the US consulate called you or your parents before the wedding ?

I don't know really. I would love to marry a H1B woman and zimbly jit at home - yap on the phone, chat on the net, and shop at the mall.... What a great life that would have been.....**sigh***
P.S. story time: there was a case like you... and after 2 years for different reasons returned to India. Found a job...found it was too tiring. Started whining, got pregnant, became a mom, and now a unhappy mom complaining about power cut, lack of water supply, workaholic hubby, and bored as hell... Poor soul could not blame anyone now, except the US employer who agreed to send them back to India.

There are not only H4 qualified who are making sacrifices..there are many qualifieded women who have sacrificed their qua-lification for various reasons..
