Plastic Surgery - how many of u would go for it

started by JuneTen91 3 mnths ago
Ola people - so tired of my flaws - don't think of anything else besides it...
I am a member of the gym - I work out and pretty much am in very good shape over all - except for my post pregnancy belly - Gosh it's bugging me sooooooooo much.  I would love to have a dash board look - just like I was before.  My hubby really really absolutely does not care for me to EVEN think about the surgery - he says you don't need it - but I am just way too consious.  I am thinking of setting up an appointment and going ahead with the procedure - ofcourse I have my own hard earned savings that I will use - none from my hubby.

I just want to know how many o you girls will dare to go ahead with this procedure without informing ANY of your family members? (knowing that they will definately not support) I mean I know once I get it DONE they will be there for me (if I come out alive ;).

Priya’s mother Kamala has maintained a warm bond between family members. So Priya shares a great relationship with all of them. She talks of the piece of advice that Bollywood actress Rekha gave her. “It was Rekhama who actually motivated me to gym everyday and not lose sight of my figure post child birth. She visited us when I delivered a baby and was going through post-natal blues. She has always been into fitness and yoga. Rekhama convinced me on the need to be disciplined in personal upkeep. She would say, ‘If you do yoga you gain control over your emotions. If I am upset I don’t sit and cry. You got to be like that. Try to be strong emotionally and not let adversities weigh you down.’ Rekhama is like a child and there is no pretence about her.”

Anything to do with the body, I would advise a natural way to do it and in your case it is by exercise...yep it is needs discipline and perseverence but it is worth it. About not informing your family members why would u not !!!? What if any complication arises ? What would you do then ? In short...are u crazy !!!!?

If you have the money to afford plastic/cosmetic surgery... you can go for it if you need immediate solution.. & if it helps make you feel more confident, happy & secure. If you have the money to afford repeated proceedures in the future..then nothing stops you from doing it.

It is your body & your decision & permissions from family dont really apply, but surely keeping them informed will help... after all every surgery, big or small might have its risks too.

But best is research the subject more  & also its effects on your medical background /history before going in for it. You might also need a reputed surgeon to do it...someone recommended instead of picking one on your own.

no I want this procedure done one time only - I do not want a repeat procedure

I think since I do not have any other health problems at this time / this age - it's better to do it now ... cause I know there are plenty of medical side effects if u are  on medication...

I am constantly watching post tummy tuck pictures - Not all of them look good - but some do look excellent .... I want to be in that "excellent" range - cause these "excellent" pictures are usually not of a "fat" person - but of someone who is in good shape and needs minor touch up

Well, once I am damn sure I am having no more babies, I might go for tummy tuck. Lets see. I have lived my entire life with my thunder thighs, so will continue with them. Taking extra care of my neck, because I heard they can't do anything about it. So scarves, etc better be in vogue when I turn 50. Face, I guess I will manage as it ages, and try to call it 'graceful'. I will have a grown up daughter to justify my wrinkles. So all good there.

Either all this, or I make serious friendship with Impy. We will either be a health conscience club, or there wil be two slackers, and I won't feel so bad then. Heh.

So wrinkles are mandatory for older women...and women have to justify wrinkles to appear "beautiful"?

Interesting...wonder what else women or men have to justify to look "good enough" for anyone?

I thought scarves, if worn well...look elegant at any age....and not just to cover up something.

Maria. Your overtly les flirtage with Big Ben is making her uncomfortable. Get a room....
Maria S posted Re:CB-Plastic Surgery on 3 mnths ago
What?

So a person cannot  simply compliment another person..there has to be a motive of some kind? I would tell a five-year old or a 100-year old that the same thing.

In this board, I would not be surprised if people have a hard time acknowledging anything complimentary or nice..saying something negative or being very offensive, would certainly get more responses.

you have short hair now? The pic I saw of you on the web had you wearing your hair long, draped over your juggernaut bewbies. I remember reading in one of your blogs that you're super conscious of your huge rack. So what changed? You're comfy with it now? Tell tell...

there's a woman at my workplace that wears a scarf. she looks stylish but one time I saw her without a scarf and understood why she wears it. turkey neck.

Thats the reason I often wore scarves, my mother quite early on had a terrible turkey neck!

No I am not. This woman titled RS-K is an emotionally voluptuous personality. Her sadness lies in the fact that she is no longer young and her denial lies in the fact that she is getting used to aging in general.

Both you and her lack substance.
  JuneTen91 posted Re:RS-K on 3 mnths ago
ok then tell me - who is a woman with substance?

a women who "lives" and ages - "just as" - right?
takes crap "just as" - right?

go easy on the dickshunary, suicide boy. what the hell is emotionally voluptuous. your posts remind me of mike tyson after he got out of jail. he read a few books and was anxious to use big words in normal conversation, to comic effect.

Near the top of my CH wishlist (things I would like to see happen on CH) is an earnest argument between Nisha and JBF, strewn with creative misuse of big words. Color commentary by VP would make it somewhat more enjoyable. Another wish from the top of the list recently got fulfilled (that one was for an argument between the Resham Singh Sandhu multiple personality character and Seva), so my hopes are high.
Seva posted Re:RS-K on 3 mnths ago
Now you can pour a drink and enjoy rest of the day.

BTw, which argument are you talking about with Sandhu?
Merlot Daruwala posted Re:RS-K on 3 mnths ago
Ok Unkil. I'll take your advice.

No argument - it was just another discussion in which M/s Sandhu et al saw the sense of what you were saying and agreed wholeheartedly with you.

ROFL. I am going to write to President Bush suggesting he recruit Seva to solve the Israel-Palestine problem. Whatever solution Seva comes up with, I am sure he can convince both sides to see the sense of his position and get them to agree wholeheartedly with him, albeit with considerable effort.
Merlot Daruwala posted Re:RS-K on 3 mnths ago
Sadly, Seva's fatigue-thy-opposition works only when said opposition has nothing to lose by agreeing. In any real life matter, that is rarely the case.

But no matter. Seva'll prob'ly be a big hit with Bush anyway, given their penchant for looking into people's souls and coming up with glowing character assessments. And since Bush will also be out of a job soon, they have one more thing in common.
