I've been on both sides of the fence. Believe me. Money does make you happy!

But the lack of it will surely bring unhappiness. It's not Money Vs. Love. It's not about Money as a solution to unhappiness. It's about the positive effects of money. It's about the need for Money for the good things that it could do.

When I buy what I want when I want, I'm happy. When I paid my house off, with money, I'm happy. I have no bills except utilities. I'm extremely happy. This is due to MONEY. Love didn't pay my mortgage or pay for my vehicles. MONEY did!

and you end up in a concentration camp because of circumstances and yet there is that only left with LOVE
you think that will go as well LIES< you should not project them with so much materialism as you know the opposite of love is HATE and this brings as much money as possible the laws of the universe are stated this way and you know it the earth brings a seed and its fruit brings its source of the seed the seed shall not perish not shall grow unless is course please stop telling them that materialism will bring to them upon happiness because you know it is not TRUE
When the hour approaches and all is lost the only thing they will seek is hope and with this if they were not told that LOVE exists then they will die at the hands of the anti-Christ please stop this BLACK propaganda and start telling them the truth !!!
U KNOW WELL THAT MOMEY WILL NOT SAVE THEM WHEN THE HOUR APPROACHES AND THEY NEED TO MAKE THE CHOICE TO STAY IN FEAR AND LOVE or to STAY Comfy AND DISPAIR at the END

But please dont under estimate the importance of money and all that it can do to express your love. Love is a very essential aspect of life. But so too are food, clothing, shelter, and the extras like going on an outing, buying the little things like ice creams, cakes that the children like. And what about the littlle gizmos and electronics that could bring about cheer amongsts our family members? And of course automobiles, bunglows, etc. could do a great deal in making people happy. One cannot eat love. Money can help. A lot of family live in misery because they have no money to make ends meet. They foget Love and start screaming at each other. It's happening all the time in a lot of homes. Just imagine what money can do to bring about cheer in such homes. So, come, let's accept the fact that Money is good and you will be expressing a great deal of love to your fellow human if you could suggest something that could help them come out of the financial rut.

But love comes in all shapes and forms this fact not even nature can deny thus have you not seen a wealthy man suffer cancer along the side of his son and the only thing that kept this one person alive was the love for a girl and the believe that one girl who was taken care of him loved him even if she didn’t what do you know what love can be compare at all levels of wealth thus I say that in wealthy families thus exist the fairness of the one “thee love” and nothing can change that not 1 million dollars nor 1 trillion
END of discussion there is no secret it’s the strongest energy source in this planet and even Aliens know it that love can cross universes and times in space

See where your money is going. See how much goes on the necessities, the extras like cable hobbies the gym, entertainment etc. See what you use and want to keep, get rid of things that you do not, shop around for good deals. Basically keep track of your money Budget your expenses and savings and monitor your budget.
Money is a very useful tool in happiness. If you do not have to worry about it it makes you happy.

A disciplined person can live a productive and satisfactory life with less money as well as with more money.
Other aspect of happiness is that for person wanting food great satisfaction is achieved by finding food but conquering desire for food or anything in general produces even greater happiness. It is paradoxical that even when you dont desire food , you still get food, like it or not - that is going to be experience of most people. They will most likely get what they need but it is necessary to not keep increasing one's desires till the desires can not be met.
Third thing to do is to actively create luck or blessing. This is done by meeting somebody else's genuine need- mostly it is to be practiced by supplying food to the hungry according to shastras; giving somebody money makes the receiver want even more money, so giving is useful only if the receiver is deserving. This creates blessing or luck and we are pleasantly surprised by getting more than what we deserve.
So self discipline, rising above desires and intelligent giving would make a person independent and happy. Karma pre-determines, Jaati, spouse, Sukh- Dukh and money from past life, therefore being hungup about these and not pursuing the right action, would create unhappiness. Only a sadhak or a yogi aquires some free will others will NOT become happy beyond a plateau but can make themselves unhappy very easily.

I can make money but I cannot manage money. I have an accountant that takes care of all my funds. If I had control of my money, I'd be broke in two weeks.

You having an accountant to to manage your accounts clearly shows that you have done what's necessary to control money. I too have no control over money. When my purse is full, I become very lavish and generous. You're suggestions are something I keep on top of my mind every time I touch my purse.
