Poor man!
He may have slipped up...saying what he did..but what's up with the powerful Governors in the US (not to mention attractive "young wives"!) They seem so starved:)

I think he made it as a genuine joke...and not a a complaint. Why should he be in even hotwater? OTOH, would the press have praised him if he had said he gets sex ALL the time?
basically, they want to dehumanise public officials. In that regard, I like Bush - the man did not care one bit and blabbered whatever he wanted like an average joe would.

Reading between the lines can be difficult at times (but, in this case...it isn't!)
*And contradictory to what people think, I have always felt that Bush is very shrewd and old-fashioned in some things..he would not talk about his sex life in life in public/or say anything which is derogatory/mean or offensive about any woman.
