My cousin in US who has a six month old boy, got hurt on the head while playing. She was told she would be put to jail and the child would be taken care by the government if it happened again. She was warned sternly and was scared to her wits end.Is it good to be in India or US if you have a few months old baby??

That is really unfortunate - but they are pretty strict here. If the school teacher or doctor's office notice anything suspicious they will report to child services. I am sure it was an accident - just tell her to be careful. It is equally good here from a well baby checking point of view.
Once they grow up -- one has to be careful while disciplining - as the kids are taught to call 911 - but parents do learn here very quickly
