Dear Hindu Brothers/Sisters:
A kick-off meeting was held yesterday at Arish Sahani's residence in NY, and it was unanimously decided to celebrate Fourteenth Hindu Sangathan Diwas in cooperation with Hindu Temple Society of North America and several other Hindu organizations on SUNDAY, August 10th, 2008 at Hindu Temple Auditorium, 143-09 Holly Avenue, Flushing, NY 11335 from 04:00 p.m. to 07:30 pm.
We celebrate Hindu Unity Day to commemorate the memory of Ch. Shivaji Maharaj, the Hindu warrior

No, I am quite far from it- for myself I like meditation best along with helping students. If Hindus know even one scripture, Gita, Ramayana, Kabir, --- then nobody can convert them, enslave them or mistreat them for long.
